I have been learning about home remodeling my entire life. I grew up in a family that has a lot of knowledge on this topic. They have been teaching me how to do a variety of things around the house.
I am here to help you learn what I already know. I want to show you what I know about topics like…

There are a lot of parts of your home that should be maintained to ensure they are working properly. This can help you save money on your utility bills, and help things last longer before you need to replace them.

There are also times when we are planning a remodel that requires a bit more than what we have. This can be in the form of not having the right tools for the job.
Or sometimes the project needs things that take a bit more skill level than we already have. Maybe it is dealing with some electrical work and we don’t want to risk doing the wrong thing.
That’s why I made The Contractor Search Guide. It walks you through the steps of finding a reliable contractor in your area. Once you have somebody you want to consider, I give you a list of interview questions to ask him or her. They include answers you should be listening for.
And once you choose the contractor you like, I teach you about the parts of a contract, with examples. You will learn exactly what to put in your contract, and what to leave out. You will understand when you should not use a contract in the first place.
